KEY TERMS
Deal: This begins the game following your initial bet.
Hit: This means you would like another card. There is not a limit on the number of hits a player can make. The there hand just cannot be equal to or greater than 21.
Double: You can decide to double down after two cards have been dealt with you. This essentially doubles your bet.
Stand: Means you want to keep your hand.
Surrender: If you have a bad hand and opt to surrender, you keep half the best, and the house gets the other half.
Split: You are allowed to break, or split, your first two cards into two hands. At any one time, a player can have up to three hands.
Re-bet: After you finish a hand, you can re-bet the money you bet in the prior round.
Insurance: This occurs when the dealer has an ace. If this happens you, as a player, are allowed to take back 50% of the initial bet that you placed.
